8 arrested in Jerusalem clashes today !
8 Palestinians were arrested in clashes that broke out in East Jerusalem after Israeli police and border guards attacked a rally marking Nakba Day.
dozens suffered bruises after Israeli police used batons and pepper spray to disperse the protesters. Three police officers were wounded after protesters threw stones at them.
Eight people were arrested including the head of the Palestinian Prisoners Society in Jerusalem, Nasser Kaws, and Al-Arabiya TV cameraman Tawfiq Saliba.
Israeli police spokeswoman Luba al-Samari said clashes were ongoing, and Israeli forces were trying to disperse the protesters.
