Israel today released a prisoner from the Gaza Strip after detaining him for 27 years.
Ibrahim Baroud returned to Gaza early today, before Israel closed the Erez crossing in response to rocket fire.
Baroud was freed after completing his sentence. He was detained in 1986 for affiliation to Islamic Jihad and spent seven years in solitary confinement.
